Reviews
The crisp yellow light bathing surfaces heavy on woodgrain, this place looks like a cabin on the inside and like some magical world encased in amber on the outside. Grab a mirror and look at yourself in this flattering light because this is how you look like at your best. :)
But this is a bakery. With a counter that serves food. So taste of food is important. Service is important. That said, here are the scores:
A+ For Ambience.
B - for the baked goods.
D for Customer Service. - That "im-better-than-you" attitude has to go , sweetheart. You know who you are. :>
Clean restaurant. I picked up my first order here based on a recommendation from work. Ordered the grilled Reuben: delicious, hot and fresh. Quality ingredients and fast service. The fries and cole slaw that came with it are very good. What a great find. Could be argued that it is on the pricier side, but the meal is huge and perhaps worth sharing. The value is here. I am so glad I found this place. I also heard that their breakfast is good (and while I waited for my order, it was being served at noon). I highly recommend this place and just had to share my experience. Keep it up and thanks for raising the bar in the neighborhood.

I love the New York Deli! The atmosphere is delightful, creating a warm and inviting dining experience. The food is reminiscent of homemade dishes, providing a comforting and authentic taste. Plus, the extensive selection of kosher items adds a unique touch. Highly recommend for a cozy and flavorful meal
Amazing!!! Bagels!!!!
We got half a dozen variety + shmear . Loved all the flavours
Have been coming here every week since. ( last 2 months) Just wanted to say : Amazing service by Heather!!! Wow !! Thank you 🙏🏻
Maybe just because it was a Sunday??
But with 7 employees working, the dining room was a mess.
The manager finally cleaned it up, but allowed the 7 employees to stand around chit chatting.
Ordered Matzo Ball soup. It was cold. Had to send back.
Ordered knish. It was mush, like thrown into a micro and not properly heated.
Sandwich Ordered was sorta hot, but not really.
For a first time visit, it was not a good experience, and I was so hopeful to find good good.
It's hard to beat a deli when you are hungry or want a great sandwich. It's no Jerry's Deli, but it definitely fills in the void for a good deli delight. The Ruben and Pastrami are great. Expensive, $50 for 2 sandwich meals with drinks.
I had a fantastic Sunday brunch at Old New York Deli & Bakery Co., and it was a pleasant surprise. Their menu offered a wide array of options, including vegetarian choices, and the best part was that breakfast was available all day – a definite win in my book!
Now, here's the standout feature – their bagels. Being a New Yorker, I'm quite critical when it comes to bagels, and I don't expect the west coast to match up. But this place is the exception. Bagels, lox, flavored cream cheeses, breakfast sandwiches, burritos, and even black & white cookies – it felt like a little piece of home right in the heart of Woodland Hills.
While the parking lot can be a bit of a hassle, it's manageable. The bonus points are the free Wi-Fi and a dog-friendly outdoor area, perfect for alfresco dining with your pup. 🥯🐶🍳
I have been coming here for a long time, today it was last time. The vanilla latte its tasteless and the cream cheese or bagel smells like nausea and trash. I feel like i get heartburn everytime i eat this breakfast now. I asked to talk to a manager and they said she is on her break. 0 customer service this place used to be good and now its a disaster. I do not like my breakfast to taste like trash NO THANKS.
